Hi there, Thought I’d send you the video of the microburst over Banana Bay in Golfito on March 10. Fingers broke away. We abandoned our finger and used every line on the boat to tie to the pilings. That’s my Daughter greeting me at the boat, sure that we lost the boat. Poor girl. Just a few scratches and frayed nerves. 3 days later they almost had things put back together. A lot of people didn’t think I could pull this off – and honestly, I did want to quit a few times..But the old one was ruined, professionals had a 2-year waitlist, and I figured… why spend the money when I might be able to do it myself?💰💰 To everyone who thought it couldn’t be done – well, it could 💁🏼‍♀️ Did I spend almost 4 months doing it? Yes, along other projects that needed attention. Is it perfect? Nope! It’s not perfect. Some seams are crooked (like so many other things on a boat), I’ve unpicked and resewn more times than I can count, and I even made a whole new sprayhood after the first one was a total disaster🔥 But now it’s finished. And it’s d4mn special.Stubbornness and support from good people really can take you far - so thanks to all who actually believe in the project.This cockpit enclosure is uniquely ours – and just the way it’s supposed to be! - 17 days, let’s go!!!
