Ci svegliamo in piscina. Una piscina di un blu che sembra fluorescente. Questa mattina ho 4 chiamate schedulate nel giro di 4 ore, riunioni a noi! Cami invece si sveglia un po’ assonnata e decide di fare un tuffo per ritrovare la produttività. Una sveglia fresca, azzurra. Qualcosa che ti fa ritrovare energia anche se non passava di lì.. Si cambia marcia! Tutti e due ci dedichiamo anche a progetti comuni a cui collaboriamo. Facciamo ragionamenti, mangiamo pranzo e continuiamo a lavorare fino alle 18. Sale vento, sale onda.. stiamo qui? Sì, dovrebbe girare più tardi! E così succede, il vento cala e l’onda si placa. Che pace. Stelle, silenzio e weekend alle porte. Quello che ci voleva per concludere la giornata! Ci vediamo domani dove scopriremo anche noi che faremo, i piani non sono ancora definiti! Domani decideremo. The Lassithi Plateau at the island of Crete is a wide, fertile plain over 800 meters above sea level, surrounded by peaks, dotted with villages and fields as far as the eye could see. One of the first things we noticed was a row of stone windmills. There were about 20 in view, but once, there were over 10,000 of them! These windmills used to pump water from the ground for irrigation – a lifeline for agriculture here. The Lassithi Plateau has long been the agricultural heart of eastern Crete, with a unique microclimate and plenty of groundwater. Even today, the 18 villages around the plateau live primarily from farming. We flew our drone to capture this sweeping valley from above – the perfect blend of natural beauty and human ingenuity.

We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard).
