Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and in 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our 37 foot home, Sea Pearl. If you'd like to join us while we work to get our new home offshore ready and to see what we get up to on our future sailing adventures - like, subscribe, and follow along. We'd love to have you! - Cheers!🍻 Paige & Ed Follow along on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/sailing.seapearl __________________________________________________________ #sailboat #sailing #sailboatrefit #liveaboards #buyaboat #oceantravel #sailingcouple #diy #boatprojects #fulltimetravel
Ahoy, Sailing Goat crew! Join us in the latest episode of our boat refit adventure, where we dive into the intricate world of cable rerouting around the boat. Watch as we work through the challenges (and maybe a few mistakes!) to prepare connections for sensors, chartplotters, and radios. The blonde dynamo is back from home, bringing a treasure trove of items we've eagerly awaited to push forward with our work. The highlight of this episode? The crucial installation and setup of the Raspberry Pi micro PC, our backup system in case all hell breaks loose.
