We love looking back over the summer’s highlights! This year the 2000 class headed to Hayling Island Sailing Club for their UK Nationals. Sunshine? Check. Champagne sailing? Check. Only a few miles from the marina we saw this storm approaching. Nothing you can do but let it pass. We furled in the genoa and just motored until it passed. We didn't get any video of the actual storm by a friend that was racing at the time had cameras rolling. So you can see what we went through. No waves to speak of so I just turned my back to it and waited it out.
