Despite an earthquake, a fire and constant erosion of an island that continually moves and reshapes itself, the Troubridge Island Lighthouse has up till now survived. We sailed to Lady Musgrave Island - one of our favourite coral cays at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef. 🏝️ Before we could explore, we had to navigate a narrow channel, dodge swirling eddies, and avoid a few coral bombies. Once inside the lagoon, we dropped anchor and jumped straight into our big blue backyard - swimming with sharks and whales, snorkelling the reef 🌊🐋🦈
