No Wind on the Way to Minerva Reef 🌊 Sailing at 3.5 Knots Under a Huge Sail | Pacific Ocean #shorts https://youtube.com/shorts/MhsI5okwA_E We are sailing toward Minerva Reef in the Pacific Ocean, and there’s absolutely no wind. Still, our boat glides forward at 3.5 knots under a massive sail. Complete calm. No engine — just the ocean and the canvas above. This peaceful #shorts video captures a rare moment of windless sailing in the open ocean. 📍 Heading to Minerva Reef, one of the most remote spots in the South Pacific. 🔔 Subscribe to Captain German Exploring for more sailing shorts, open-ocean crossings, and real-life moments under sail.
Miami brought a full range of conditions for the North-powered fleet at the @m32official Worlds, from light air patience racing to demanding downrange legs. @ryonlife Ryan McKillen's Surge and crew settled in spare. With @taylorwcanfield calling tactics, and @sloughborough, @stewartdodson, and @lukecpayne keeping the boat in sync, Surge showed the value of time on the water. As Mckillen put it, "There's a temptation to chase quick results and make changes early, but | believe in investing time in the guys and getting better together. That's been my approach, and we just showed it works." The fight behind them stayed tight. Cy Thompson kept TUUCI in the mix until the end, and @philrobertsonracing steered ChinaOne.Ningbo onto the final step of the podium. Bobby Julien's Dingbat wrapped up third Corinthian after a week of steady gains. Congratulations to all teams on a strong Worlds. @northsails
