Two new things today. First, a replacement for our much abused Makita drill which has given up. The grip on the chuck for changing drills was already worn to the point of being very hard to tighten or release, the motor has been struggling for a while too. So new, more powerful one with harder wearing metal parts. Plus the cutest little kettle for our Refleks stove. Now we don't need to use electricity (if we have the diesel stove on) to make tea/coffere or do the washing up :-) We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP. Just bought a new used OB for our 14' McKee Craft and went back online to check outboards again and this 2018 2.5 Mercury showed up asking only $300.00?? It's spiting out gas because the carburetor is dirty. Will clean carb and add a inline fuel filter which there is none on these motors? I knew this because my father-in-law has one and his carb keeps getting dirty and sticking.
