This video accompanies my Lake Havasu talk to the HPCC. Taken in N Germany on our return from the USSR in 1989 it shows that you don't always mean to beach a boat. We had no charts for this section of the coast. The masts were down as we had just passed under a low bridge. We got incredibly lucky sailing through Hervey Bay when these 2 whales swam towards the boat, we stopped the boat and these whales put on a phenomenal show for 40 minutes. They seemed very inquisitive and genuinely interested in us.
