Welcome to Day 2 of our Christmas calendar! ๐ Today, weโre diving into the galleyโour compact yet highly functional kitchen on Vela. โต Placed on the starboard side, just behind the nav station, our galley is designed for safety and efficiency: โจ Longitudinal layout ensures we can cook securely even when the boat heels. โ๏ธ Big fridge and freezer for all our provisions. ๐ฅ Gas stove for cooking up delicious meals, even mid-passage. ๐ฆ Double sink with 3 water outlets: Pressurized fresh water (hot/cold) Manual fresh water pump Manual saltwater pump (great for rinsing without wasting fresh water). On the opposite side, we have a spacious prepping area, and while we once had a microwave, weโve replaced it with storage and an espresso machineโbecause we appreciate a good cup of coffee! โ What would you cook in this galley?
