I am back on KARL since March 2015 and just accomplished my first two overnight solo sail from San Blas to Cartagena with my good old Karl. Just had to share this with you shortly, cause I am super excited about it :). The second season will start around June / July 2015 with new stories to tell. It's probably one of the projects we've gotten the most comments/questions about in the build so far, so I know so many of you have been really looking forward to this one. As you might already know, we've decided to go with spray foam for the majority of the hull for several reasons which we break down for you in the video. The process is VERY interesting and VERY messy, and ended up taking an extra day to get it all done perfectly, and then of course the clean up process was a massive undertaking in and of itself.
