The first week of the season ending Frosties Regatta at Strangford Lough Yacht Club were sailed in perfect conditions. With a steady 10 to 15 knots which built steadily during the afternoon before topping out at 15 to 20 knots for race 2. The team on GTR pulled of a near perfect gybe coming down the last run to consolidate the their leading while flying into the bottom mark at of 8 knots of boats speed. After a shacking start to the season in big breezes it is great to see the crew working like clock work as the seasons on Going to Red races towards it's close. We have a lot of work to do for our interior refit. The first job is to remove all the lining and timber furniture from the master cabin. We have carbon fibre door frames and composite doors to install for the engine room. That means cutting out the frames a little neater to fit the new ones.
