In the Spirit Yachts 65 the marque has come of age, designer Sean McMillan leaving behind skerrycruiser roots to evolve something unique and of course highly attractive. Still with an eye for grace and craftsmanship of the 1930s, but perhaps suggesting how the work of mid-century British yacht designers like Camper & Nicholsons, Kim Holman, George McGruer and Angus Primrose might have evolved. She made her maiden forays afloat in the Far East, and with family and friends has raced and cruised both sides of the Atlantic and the English Channel. Ragazzi tornano le levatacce 😊 Oggi dobbiamo navigare per 60 miglia verso Milazzo. Abbiamo un appuntamento importante! Navighiamo con l’alba, nella luce di un sole rosso fuoco che ci dà il buongiorno e scalda la coperta di Julia che stanotte era bello umido. Carichiamo il gommone sulla tuga anziché trainarlo perché abbiamo visto che più o meno un mezzo nodo ce lo toglie. Quando c’è tanta strada da fare ogni decimo di miglio è prezioso! Arriviamo alle 18. Scendiamo per un po’ di spesa e torniamo con…. Jackone! Mio amico di infanzia, velista e con la passione per la musica. Ne vedremo delle belle insieme! A domani♥️ Andrea
