Once a year, La Galigo is back in #Bali for a dry dock after a long journey in the #sea. While in dry dock, we conduct maintenance on the whole boat in and out. We give our boat a complete makeover! Starting with cleaning all the barnacles off the hull, then repainting the entire ship. We're also taking care of the engine and making sure the deck and all the rooms are sparkling clean. On Friday, Heather Thomas broke another record. She finished sailing around the world as the skipper for Team Scotland in the Clipper Race. Thomas and First Mate Millie Apperley are the first female leadership duo to get on a Clipper podium. Overall, Team Scotland finished in third, with 96 points. We caught up with Heather right after the Parade of Sail into Portsmouth on Saturday. The parade celebrated ending the approximately 40,000 nautical mile journey around the world.
