Propane-powered outboard maker Lehr has introduced what I think is the first outboard motor with self-contained electric starting. An optional feature of its new propane-powered, LP9.9 model, the motor carries its starting battery under the cowl, rather than in the boat. The office rib is very popular with our clients for taking them around the marina as this is the best way to view boats. However she does have her problems. As demonstrated here very nicely by Jon from the brokerage team. She does not work too well without fuel. Nevertheless, the clients got to see the boat they came to look at, and Jon has had his morning exercise.
