A ship that surveys marine plastic pollution while traveling around the world without using any fossil fuel is anchored at Osaka North Port. The moored "Race for Water" is a ship that has been sailing around the world since 2017, and uses fossil fuels because it uses electric power made from solar cells and hydrogen energy made from seawater. I don't use it. "After producing fresh water from seawater with this machine, it is converted into hydrogen here. This is the first time that this mechanism has been used on a ship in the world," said Saki Kobayashi.
