https://mybvicharter.com/power-catamarans/best-power-catamarans-bvi/?utm_source=youtube&utm_content=wpDJgNV2nas Motor yacht or catamaran for your BVI charter? Start with who's coming. Mo from our team, filmed at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026: "If you have a group of adults that want to do a casino night, pick a motor yacht. If you have two families and there are kids running around, pick a catamaran." Motor yachts tend to carry more water toys than sailing yachts of comparable length. Catamarans are stable and spacious, and draw so little water you can anchor closer to the beach. Want both? A power catamaran gives you the space and stability of a catamaran with the speed of a motor yacht. Like FOREVER YOUNG, a 55 ft Two Oceans built in 2024. She surprised us at the show and made our Top 5 BVI power catamarans. We're Nick and Terysa and we’ve become completely obsessed with the idea of sailing around the world and sharing our experiences and information through our sailing lifestyle videos with others. We met travelling around India, and quickly agreed that rather than “settling down” and doing what most normal people do, we wanted to travel and have adventures! We moved onto our 38 foot monohull in 2014, sailed across the Atlantic twice, cruised the Caribbean, Bahamas and Europe, before buying a brand new 45 ft catamaran! We hope you enjoy what we do. Please subscribe, like and share.
