Ketch-up (get it, ketchup like catch-up, or ketch like our boat 😇🤣🍟) with what we’ve been up to. I had extra fun in making this little dispatch 😋 I grew up watching this movie where our family would often quote it and still do. The weather has been pretty stormy for May, but we have been getting the odd dry periods with warm wind here and there. To be honest, the Caribbean is looking pretty good right now. Boat life carries on regardless of how chilly of a spring we’re having. Each week has been bringing us new opportunities for learning more about our boat 😉😉 @wilder85 has been a trooper getting items checked off our list while working and fitting in a paddle or two. Thanks for following along with us ⛵️
Trash on a boat is a daily occurrence! When we buy groceries we try to remove and leave as much packaging on shore but trash inevitably accumulates. In each new harbor we have to find the spot where cruisers can deposit their trash. In some cases, like St Maarten, it’s free. In other countries, or ports, there are small fees. The one thing a cruiser should never do is bring trash to land and leave it for someone else to take care of. Instead…stop by your neighbors (even if you don’t know them yet) and tell them you’re doing a trash run and you’re happy to take theirs!
