Hoy toca instalar un desviadrizas en el mástil de un velero RO330. Es muy típico que se nos enrede la driza del foque o el génova en el estay proel cuando tenemos instalado un enrollador. Cuando esto te sucede, revisa si tienes demasiado floja la driza y si no, monta uno de estos desviadrizas. Con esta instalación, aunque tengas floja la driza, no se te va a enredar. En esloras pequeñas tenemos cables muy finos en nuestros estays. Esto es motivo de una posible rotura del estay y posterior desarboladura del mástil. Evita estos accidentes.

The Yachting Malta Ltd EurILCA Masters race went underway this afternoon just off Sliema seafront when the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 fleets managed to fit in two races. The approximate 8 knots of wind, and negligible swell allowed the fleet to fit in two races. Unfortunately after the second race, the wind dropped to 5knots resulting in the fleet return back to its base at the Royal Malta Yacht Club. The ILCA 6 fleet saw Rob Cage (GBR) and Vadim Yahkhinson win a race each, with Cage leading the standings for the day with 3 points. The larger, ILCA 7 fleet saw Christoph Marsano (AUT) and Aristos Chatzistamatiou (GRE) take two wins, however it was Wolfgang Gerz (GER) who matched Marsano’s points tally, both finishing the day with five points each.
