E' la prova del nove: si conosce il peso reale della barca finita, la capacità di raddrizzamento e se è conforme o meno in tutte le sue parti alle regole di stazza, condizione necessaria per correre nella classe di appartenenza. The brand new Korvet50XLR named Callisto departed from Rotterdam on July 3 for the first leg of her trip to Nassau. Today she will arrive in Brighton from where the journey continues to the Azores. After a refueling stop in Horta the non-stop Atlantic crossing to Bermuda begins. With an average speed of 9 knots the crossing will take under 10 days, depending on sea and weather conditions. Another 4 days of travel takes her from Bermuda to Nassau, her new homeport.
