We were very charmed by the village of Klima in the south of Milos, where the famous fishermen’s houses with their colorful doors are located right by the sea. These houses are called syrmata. The houses are built into hollowed-out soft rock, where fishermen in the last century stored their boats to protect them from the strong winds and waves. The ground floor serves as a storage space for the boats (during winter), while the fisherman lives on the second floor during the working season, where there is a living area with a sleeping space. We enjoyed the port of Beaulieu-sur-Mer: you can see the high green mountain walls of de Alpes-Martimes very well here, which are very close to the coast in this part. That gives a nice contrast with the bright blue water and the white boats. We were given a place at the beginning of the super yacht jetty, our catamaran completely 'disappeared' next to those big boys, which made us laugh ourselves 😉. Οι συζητήσεις των πάνελ, από τις πρωτοπόρες που άνοιξαν δρόμους σε έναν απαιτητικό χώρο, μέχρι τις νέες επαγγελματίες της τεχνολογίας, του σχεδιασμού και της βιωσιμότητας, ανέδειξαν τον καταλυτικό ρόλο των γυναικών στο μέλλον του κλάδου. Ένα συνέδριο που ανοίγει νέους ορίζοντες Η ONDECK Events δεσμεύεται να συνεχίσει και να επεκτείνει τον θεσμό, θέτοντας τις βάσεις για ακόμη πιο στοχευμένες δράσεις τα επόμενα χρόνια. Το Women in Yachting δεν ήταν απλώς μια ημερίδα· ήταν μια εμπειρία που άγγιξε καρδιές, ενεργοποίησε συνειδήσεις και άνοιξε νέους ορίζοντες για το μέλλον του κλάδου. The island of Carriacou is north of Grenada in the southern Caribbean. Many sailing cruisers make the Grenadines home during the hurricane season as it's low risk. Our favorite anchorage is Sandy Island or just off Paradise Beach.
