Shortly after the start of Race 2 of the 2024 Narrow Regatta the J109 going to read was shown a clean pair of heals from a rampaging VX1 that glided by to leeward with speed. The further the VX1 punched out into the middle of the narrows the more left to right of tide she picked up, allowed her to put and and front and disappear do the the race track. Abbiamo fatto un bel viaggio di tre giorni partendo da Porto Garibaldi direzione Parenzo in Croazia, poi da Parenzo siamo andati a Rovigno e infine rientrati a Porto Garibaldi. Purtroppo quasi tutti i due trasferimenti le abbiamo dovuti fare a motore per condizioni di vento non favorevoli o assenza addirittura di vento. Comunque è stata una esperienza davvero molto molto bella. Nota dolente, i prezzi davvero alti, a Parenzo ormeggio di una notte senza luce e acqua, € 44,44, a Rovigno nella marina volevano € 180,00 per una notte, li abbiamo ormeggiato in rada all'ancora e non abbiamo pagato nulla perchè non è passato nessuno a riscuotere. Uno spritz € 8,00 senza niente, neppure un oliva. Cenare mangiando carne non si spende molto, sui 25 euro. Ho usato con molta apprensione il mio Dji mini 2 x qualche ripresa.
