The Sunreef Ultima 55 is the first model launched from Sunreef's new generation of hybrid high performance power catamarans 'ecospeeders'. It's an impressive power cat with sleek design and understated luxury, plus a max speed of approx 35 knots. Future models in the range include 44, 66, 77, 88 and the flagship 111. Launched at the Dubai International Boat Show in February, the Ultima 55 was one of the stars of the show at Salon Náutico in Barcelona last week. 5 days of adventure, challenges, and teamwork! Not a lot of wind for the most part but the little we got made for some amazing sailing at times. Out to Moturekareka island, on out to Great Barrier for 2 nights before a magical night sail back to Motutapu for the last night. The lads then took charge of the yacht on the last day, and sailed us safely home. Knot work, Raft building, beach games and a huge beach clean up at Rangiwhakea Bay. Well done team!
