These tiny primates are found NOWHERE else on Earth! typically measuring only only about 9–16 cm (3.5–6 inches) long, roughly the size of a human fist or a baseball. With eyes bigger than their brains and the ability to rotate their heads 180°, they're nature's most fascinating creatures. Did you know they can jump 40x their body length? And they're the ONLY fully carnivorous primate in the world! As a protected endangered species, seeing them ethically is crucial. That's why we've created something special... Once in a while, you should leave the water and explore the mountains! When we sailed along the Costa del Sol, we saw the mountains on the coastline becoming higher and higher. The Sierra Nevada in the South Spain means 'snowy mountain range' in Spanish. From our catamaran we saw the snowy peaks in the distance. In the harbor of Almerimar we rented a car for a day and had an amazing trip through the Sierra Nevada. A lot of sunshine, little white villages and always a view on the water as well. After the Alps, this is the highest mountain range in Europe, with a total of 16 peaks above 3000 meters.
