We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). The Elan Hindsight stretched out to a lead over over two minutes at the first mark during racing at the Quoile Yacht Club 2 Day Event after a great decision to gybe away from the fleet to head over to the Portaferry shoreline to get relief from the tide. The team on J109 Going to Red worked hard up the first beat to close the gap before gliding by into the lead with a textbook leebow about half way to the second racing mark. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying these short clips of racing action from the 2024 season.
