Manta encounter at Manta Alley in Komodo National Park. It's a bit of a giveaway from the name of the site, but this signature dive is the main location in Komodo to find manta rays - often as many as 10 or 20. It's a rock islet that just punctures the sea's surface in a small craggy chain, inside the bay along the south coast of Komodo Island.

We were nearing the end of a delivery, during the winter, from Palma to Croatia when we hit some rough weather... initially just a Force 9 it wasn't long before it was blowing 55kts (a F11) Good weather to be in a sturdy yacht!
