Bigger is better right? ⛵️This is how we turned our 43 foot monohull into a 46 footer! On a sailboat you always want more space no matter how big…for us this was one of the most important upgrades and james totally nailed it! A favorite stop during our Sea of Cortez/Midriff Islands dive trips is Bahia de Los Angeles where we snorkel with whale sharks. These gentle giants come into this bay to feed. We use the local boats to take us into the bay. The crew looks for the whale sharks and then 4 people can get into the water with them. Sometimes they swim by quickly (there is absolutely no way to keep up with them ) and sometimes they are just happy to eat. We can even see multiple whale sharks at one time! Remember the three rules of snorkeling with whale sharks: 1) Don't touch the whale shark, 2) Don't touch the whale shark, and 3) Don't touch the whale shark. He he he!
