Just minutes into our journey, the first moored sailboat with people on it was a fellow Mark Twain Lake sailor I had met when we first started sailing Galactica. Fortunately, Matt recognized Galactica and called my name. He works at a boatyard on the Calumet and invited me to grab a dock space with electricity!!! It was perfect for us. Visitors can marvel at her elegant lines, learn about her global circumnavigation, and appreciate the craftsmanship that has kept her sailing for decades. Utopia currently resides under the stewardship of the her new owners based in Manitowoc Wisconsin, where it continues to inspire curiosity and passion for the Great Lakes among learners of all ages.
