Building on this success, the yard has launched the Iliad 53. Available in an S-version, this new model is innovative in terms of design, as it does not have a flybridge, thus presents a sporty silhouette, or sedan appearance - hence the “S”. With its significantly lowered superstructure, the 53S can venture onto inland waterways, opening up new cruising possibilities. She’s also available in a flybridge version under the name of the Iliad 53F. Like her predecessors, the 53 is a beachable cruising boat, solidly built in a foam/vinylester sandwich. This is a lightly used example and was in the same ownership for 20 years. I bought the boat in August 2023 but unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to sail and enjoy it, and that is why it is now reluctantly for sale. The teak deck has been refurbished and is in great condition. The sails are also in excellent condition.
