⚡ La course qui révèle les talents ! Dans un mois exactement, le Tour Voile 2026 prendra le départ pour plus de deux semaines de course, de rencontres et d’émotions le long des côtes françaises. Du 24 juin au 12 juillet, les équipages du Tour Voile partiront de Normandie, pour deux étapes en Bretagne Nord, puis une dans le Finistère, pour terminer en Bretagne Sud ! Le Tour Voile, c’est une course unique où la mer vient au contact des villes et du public. Pendant plusieurs jours, chaque étape vivra au rythme : ⛵ des régates inshore visibles depuis la côte, 🌊 des longues étapes offshore entre deux villes, 🎶 des villages d’animations ouverts à tous, 🍴 des saveurs locales et du patrimoine maritime, 🎥 et d’une aventure humaine qui se construit au fil des milles. Chaque ville accueillera bien plus qu’une compétition : un véritable rendez-vous populaire et maritime, où habitants, visiteurs, passionnés de voile et curieux pourront vivre la course au plus près. Welcome to Gramvousa Island, the first landfall when sailing from the Peloponnese to Crete. This island is renowned not only for its breathtaking beaches and historic Venetian fortress but also for the mysterious shipwreck rusting along its shore. The wreck is that of the Dimitrios P, a cargo ship that ran aground near Gramvousa in January 1968. The exact cause of the stranding remains a topic of speculation. Some suggest the ship was overwhelmed by severe weather and rough seas, while others believe it was abandoned by its crew due to mechanical issues. Whatever the true story, today the wreck forms an iconic image in the turquoise waters surrounding the island.

Keelboats allow you to learn to sail without the fear of capsizing, and usually with several other people on the boat. Learning to sail in self-righting keelboats (or trailer sailers) provides a learning platform that is stable yet responsive. As your skills progress, you will also develop an understanding of each persons role and how teamwork plays a major part of being an effective crew. You should come away with the knowledge and confidence to sail a small boat competently and for those that wish, you can progress to larger boats or participate as crew on a racing boat.
