In July of 2014 I purchased a 42 ft sailboat. She was built in 1985 by Hallberg Rassy in Sweden. In this series of videos I will be documenting my experiences as I fix things, break things and alternate between the pleasure of sailing and the sheer terror of narrowly averting disaster. In other words, the life of a sailboat owner. Click the subscribe button to follow along.

Hey guys, I think knowing your knots is a very important part of boat life since you gotta use knots every single day - but I do know a surprisingly big number of sailors who are more the “if you don’t know how to knot, knot a lot” type! 🤪😂 I definitely always make sure to tie off my dinghy properly- you don’t wanna come back to where you “parked” your dinghy, just to find an empty spot - happens more often to sailors than you’d think. 🤣😜 But KNOT on my watch! Bowline for the win! 😁💪 What’s your favorite knot? Cheers guys, Kristina
