When you sail into Rotterdam from the North Sea, starting at Hoek van Holland to the Veerhaven, it is about 2 hours of sailing in a busy area of Holland. On the Maas, there are a lot of boats (watertaxis, containerships, workboats, etc). Luckily you are supported by control posts that guide you into the right direction on the water.

Just minutes into our journey, the first moored sailboat with people on it was a fellow Mark Twain Lake sailor I had met when we first started sailing Galactica. Fortunately, Matt recognized Galactica and called my name. He works at a boatyard on the Calumet and invited me to grab a dock space with electricity!!! It was perfect for us.
