Awesome time-lapse video of the new J/121 Offshore Speedster- a 40-foot boat designed for #sailing offshore with less crew! This video shows the hull plug "rough cut" being created at Symmetrix in Bristol, RI using a 5-axis CNC machine- amazing how fast a 40 foot plug can be created! Just 3 days! Next up? #shorts So we had lucky dolphins bow ride our sailboat on our first official day under full sail without an instructor or other experienced sailor to aid us. Just me and dad running the boat, riding the wind. Off grid living when aboard a boat is truly unique. Can’t see these kind of things in an RV!
