Giorno 23 - TIRRENO Oggi finalmente Andrea e Camilla hanno smesso di annoiarvi con le loro solite facce! Sono venuto a trovarli io, il loro amico Alberto. Ho sbagliato aeroporto e sono atterrato a Trapani, cosi mi hanno dovuto aspettare a Palermo fino alle 12.30 e ci sono state alcune difficoltà nell’imbarco ma alla fine tutto é finito bene, con una navigazione a vela memorabile e tante strambate. Regardless if you call it a Chinese Gybe, Death Roll or Uncontrolled Gybe they can happen in a heart beat. One second you are cruising along and the next you are lying flat in the water with little or no ability to do anything about it. This Chinese Gybe was over in an instant, cost us the race, in reflection it taught us a lot about preventing it from happening again and how to recover better if it does happen again.
