I've just come up to this, it's very tight and someone's gone around and done a hitch straight away. Now if you had of done a couple of turns and things before you did this cleat hitch maybe that would help but right now that is rock solid and it's really hard to get off especially in an emergency. So I'm gonna have to roll it. It's just not what I call efficient. Had it been like that and then like that and then you put your cleat hitch on fine. Strike 18ft sailing trimaran by Woods Designs on its first sail, so it is still unfinished, but still steers itself quite happily. It has a home built main hull and uses a beach cat for rig and outriggers You can build this boat yourself in plywood. I also have a smaller Strike 16 and a more performance oriented Strike 15.
