This video was taken by Mike Scott and shows my 2day build 14ft Zest dinghy sailing for the first time. Built during the 2 day Edensaw Boatbuilding Challenge at the Port Townsend WBF. Builders were Josh Turner, Bob Lange while Dan Carter and I took videos and got in the way. My first sail with my new custom sails from PointSails. Main and 100% working jib are made of 6oz Dacron. The main has 2 reefing points and a full top batten. The jib has very nice stainless steel hanks.
