We are staying at a mooring north of Phuket, located close to Yacht Haven Marina. In this area, there are many boats; most stay on moorings, but some are on an anchor. This is a nice place because it is very close to all the facilities, with the marina within walking distance. Trip to the Atlantic Highlands in New Jersey in serious fog. In order to get there, I had to cross New York Harbor. With less than 100m of visibility, not a fun undertaking. There were approximately 20 large vessels all moving at different speeds and heading into the harbor. I never saw one. Without radar it would have been extremely dangerous.
