J109 Going to Red was locked in close combat with the several of the IRC 1 fleet in the first of the Tobermory of WYHW 2023. The wind was ranging between 10 and 15 knots on the first beat with J109 Going to Red crossing just behind the Maxi 1300 "Maximoose Too" GBR9333C early on the first best. Maximoose Too lead from start to finish in this race with Going to read coming in 6th place. The bottom up boats team had a great time at WHYW, the weather was not great but the sailing and the social life more than made up for the damp conditions. On Friday, we spent the day at Fowl Cay. Loaded up the dinghy with lunch, snorkeling gear and headed down to Fowl Cay. Moriah Harbour Cay National Park is quite beautiful. There's a ton to see and do near George Town, Bahamas. Well worth the :45 dinghy ride, even if it was a little bit rough.
