"Integrity" is the name of my 2018 Leopard 45' Sailing Yacht. Join me virtually and/or actually as I prepare to, and do, a 10 year circumnavigation around the world! Integrity is a 4 cabin/4 bath catamaran (plus crew forepeak quarters with bed and bath). I will be chartering these cabins out individually, or the whole boat (w/me as captain/crew) in ports of calls around the world. Hello, my name if Jeff. I worked hard all my life to get free and travel the world. Now, I'm preparing to do it! Join my adventures. Learn about sailing. Experience living aboard a sailboat. Learn how to do it yourself. See the world. Occasionally, I plan on sharing little bits of my life and the principles that allowed me to do this for the benefit of my grandchildren. I Hope that you'll enjoy it and benefit too! Don't just live vicariously through me, join me and see the world! Integrity's core values: Engage, Enlighten, Empower! The Lassithi Plateau at the island of Crete is a wide, fertile plain over 800 meters above sea level, surrounded by peaks, dotted with villages and fields as far as the eye could see. One of the first things we noticed was a row of stone windmills. There were about 20 in view, but once, there were over 10,000 of them! These windmills used to pump water from the ground for irrigation – a lifeline for agriculture here. The Lassithi Plateau has long been the agricultural heart of eastern Crete, with a unique microclimate and plenty of groundwater. Even today, the 18 villages around the plateau live primarily from farming. We flew our drone to capture this sweeping valley from above – the perfect blend of natural beauty and human ingenuity.
