Day 15. Started the day with absolutely no wind. We were literally drifting… even going a bit backwards at times. Just slowly turning in circles, waiting for something to change. But eventually, the wind came back. Slowly, steadily, and we could start sailing again. I spent most of the day cooking. Prepping food for the next few days, making things easier for future us. Lunches, dinners, getting ahead while things were calm. And then… I made a chocolate croissant. As someone who’s gluten-free, that’s been one of the things I’ve missed the most. So being able to make one, on a boat, in the middle of the ocean, felt kind of unreal. Used the Omnia oven, and honestly, I love it. It just makes life out here feel a bit more normal. We ended the day on a high note. Karaoke, singing, just enjoying ourselves again. But before the night, it was back to business. The barometer dropped, which usually means one thing out here… more wind coming. A low pressure system on the way. So we reefed, prepped the boat, and got ready. Because this one might get a bit rough. 🌊 ⚓ Life on the Showgirl is my journey toward one of the toughest solo sailing races on the planet: the Golden Globe Race — sailed solo, non-stop, and without modern technology. 👇 #shorts #autoconhecimento #criancainterior #psicologia #saudemental #reflexao #vida #sal
