This was one of the most rewarding (and frustrating) projects I have ever undertaken. Inspired by another boats wheel and wanting something a little more special that the standard French whipping technique, I opted for coachwhipping - and to make it a little more challenging, I made it a 9 strand 😂 is it perfect? No. But it’s pretty darn close and I’m very proud of it! Will I do it again? I spent a couple hours looking for some fish to shoot and visibility was really poor but I was lucky enough to find some small neck clams, bagged a few and took them back to my boat to try them. I put a little secret sauce on them, which was Tabasco, lime, fresh garlic and soy sauce. You can see it dripping down my neck! This was the very first time I have ever tried raw clams.
