While in Trinidad we've had people recommend a huge range of foods and local dishes to try. Over the last few weeks I've been listening to other cruisers rave about the aloo pie at the Port of Spain Central Market so today I got myself one and I'm SO glad I did! The mix of herbs, spices, potato, chickpeas and everything else stuffed inside the fried bread was delicious. The wetlands restoration project is completed. Hopefully it will fill with water in the spring run-off. The wildlife will thrive here for decades to come. A great legacy. Sass and I are headed back to the boat on Monday or Tuesday now. We’re watching the weather and mountain pass highway conditions. Living on a sailboat content will resume shortly!
