The LeisureCat 8000 StormCat is designed for serious fishing and diving and with plenty of room and comfort for just lounging around to soak up the sun. The deck is fully moulded with a raised cockpit coaming and moulded side pockets and lockers. Twin large underdeck catch tanks are standard. The forward lounge seats have hinged tops for storage under. A marine toilet and storage area has been incorporated into the driving cuddy. Recommended engine power is 2x150hp to 200hp 4-stroke outboards. It includes our renowned full-length wavebreaker for that soft ride. Many innovative options have been designed to work with the StormCat, such as the "hutch" to cover the foredeck for over-night accommodation, a removable table to turn the fordeck area into a huge sundeck, hidden stove and sink, and a slip-in seat to extended the seating right across the cab.
Day 4 on the Transat Jacques Vabre for Will & Boris. After a very rough start in strong sailing conditions our duo suffered some electronics issues and had to slow down a bit to fix it. Now everything seems to work and they are working hard to catch up! Currently sailing at 11th position. Practice day at the German sail GP in Sassnitz was chilling to watch. Seeing the catastrophic failure aboard the Brazilian boat as the port hull appeared to fold up under the boat as the forward cross beam failed brought back memories of San Francisco in 2013 and that’s not something we ever want to see again
