The 350 LeisureCat Deepwater is a powerful workhorse ideal for all types of commercial charter fishing and diving, while still retaining the internal comforts of a liveaboard cruiser. Its huge and stable cockpit can be adapted to suit the needs of any water activities or patrol work. Powered by twin diesels, it is capable of over 30 knots in most conditions. A full-sized walk-in head/shower, complete with vanity, compliments the double front berth and full galley facilities. There is ample storage above and below decks and the moulded dash area will take 2 x 12in screens if needed. Twin large storage wells are set into the forward deck either side of the electric anchor well. Here’s an interesting view of an Exploration 45 from the front. It reveals what Olivier Racoupeau refers to as ‘beam stability’, in his interview on the Garcia Yachts channel. Katy and Jerry on GX25 - Idril pulled up to the dock next to GX27 - Snow Gum. The four of us humans had a good chat about all manner of things relating to Exploration 45s. It was like the old days, pre Covid. Good fun. 🙂 I don’t know what the two boats talked about. Regards, Rick. Quick quiz - what’s the story with the name Idril? No search engines allowed! 😠
