This August, LEGO started giving away the Sailboat Adventures set (40487) with purchases over $200. This is a great looking set and is a fun build! Definitely worth the free price ;). To race around the world alone non-stop is pretty special and those that succeed enter an elite club. But when it comes to lapping the planet against the prevailing winds and currents, non-stop and alone the list stops way short of double figures. Last Christmas, solo sailor Guirec Soudée left France to set a new record and add his name to the gang, but his campaign took a very different approach. Instead of choosing a sturdy metal hulled monohull, Soudée and his team decided to take on the world in reverse with a fragile Ultim trimaran.

Updated view of the storm as we begin to get the outer bands of rain. So far so good. The models are still all over the place. The eye has shifted a bit south but we are still waiting for the hurricane to make landfall. We are still hoping for the best and that all will be well. Our continued prayers to those that are in the worse part of the storm.
