The Strike 15 has folding outriggers. This video shows a mock up of the unfolding system. The hulls and beams are real, but clearly unfinished. However the beambolts and attachments are temporary. Trailing width is 2200, approx 7ft The outrigger unfolds itself because the boat is on a slight slope, so gravity is forcing it to open. You don't need a licence, and you don't even have to use sails. Just put the engines in forward, and off you go! You need to have some boating experience under your belt, but even if you don't, you can book now and work on getting some experience before you arrive for your holiday. We can also offer some on-water training to build your confidence, we call that a 'sail guide'. Just ask us!
