Who's the fastest windsurfer ever? ▫️ We ran a reel recently on the 500m World Sailing Speed Record currently held by Paul Larsen on Sailrocket 2. There are quite a few windsurfers on the list. ▫️ We got quite a few comments asking "where is Bjorn Dunkerbeck?" While he doesn´t hold any 500m sailing records, he has held 3 outright records over a nautical mile and also hit 55.97 knots over a 2 second time gap in 2021. ▫️ So here he is. Travis Suit, founder of Piper’s Angels, discovered that saltwater benefited his daughter’s condition, inspiring the Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis event. This initiative raises awareness and funds to combat the disease. Paddleboarders and kayakers will journey 80 miles from the Bahamas to Florida, raising money to help individuals afford crucial treatments.
