We were flying home from the Southampton Boat Show when we saw the fireworks from the plane. This was the show that has been made in one of the bigger and important squares of Barcelona. Yesterday was La Mercé Day, the Barcelona Patron Saint. Every year there is a fireworks show in Plaza d'España, one of the beautiful squares of the city.
BCN Port Innovation Foundation, together with America's Cup Event Barcelona, has presented at L'Aquàrium de Barcelona the BCN Sotamar project, an initiative with a holistic approach to protect marine ecosystems. She is a true expedition-go-anywhere small yacht in comfort and safety on a dynamically stabilized offshore design. According to the hull characteristics and design; it is an evolution of her smaller sister, a low resistance, sea kindly hull, that performs efficiently with a minimum of fuel consumption at high and at all speed ranges. The maximum speed will be in the order of 26 knots depending on the final power plant selected among the options offered. Cruising range will be 2000 miles at cruising speed. We went diving with thousands of groupers and over 700 sharks at the South Pass of Fakarava in French Polynesia.
