Après avoir formé des centaines de skippers et matelots j'étais bien fatigué. C'est alors que mes nouveaux propriétaires et l'architecte qui m'a fait naître ont décidé de me donner une nouvelle vie pour que je puisse continuer à accomplir ma mission avec passion et fougue. Après de nombreux mois de chantier dans mon berceau natal breton, j'ai retrouvé toute ma splendeur. Aujourd'hui, plus beau et plus performant que jamais, je frétille d'impatience de retrouver mon élément et mes nouveaux stagiaires. Voilà où j'en suis. Mon capitaine va bientôt m'installer mes nouveaux cordages, mes nouveaux équipements électroniques et un habile maître voilier va me tailler de belles, solides et performantes voiles... The long anticipated premier of the first two MC31s to hit the water played out in today’s passage race between Melbourne and Geelong for the start of the Geelong Festival of Sails. With John Taylor’s Vindaloo and Rohan Veal’s 38 South Racing sailing their respective boats quite literally ‘straight out of the box’ – Rohan’s sails arrived in Melbourne this morning – both skippers were delighted with their first outing, and are looking forward to using their kites tomorrow, after an upwind race today.

While sailing from Corsica to Sardinia, we suddenly saw this huge whale right in front of us. With a hard turn to starboard we managed to avoid it. What an experience!!
