Designed by @johnmcgettigan66, it's powered by twin Molabo electric motors and a 45kWh lithium battery system supported by a 2kW solar array.​ . On battery alone, Earthling can cruise silently for up to 40 nautical miles at lower speeds, or 20nm at 8 knots, and 18nm at 10 knots—the "sweet spot".​ . Two diesel-powered 8.5kW Whisperpower Genverters provide hybrid range extension and can run on biofuel. .
