Step inside the heart of this incredible vessel! We're standing next to a genuine piece of maritime history: a Gardner 6L3 engine that rolled off the line long before WWII ended. Forget modern complexity; this powerhouse has logged between 120,000 and 150,000 hours, even after a couple of rebuilds! It proudly replaced the original three-cylinder Fairbanks Morse, but the real magic is the startup: watch how we use 230 PSI of high-pressure air to coax this mechanical giant into life, manually cycling it before it catches its rhythm. This isn't just an engine; it's a legend that defines incredible longevity and access to every system you can imagine! #TrawlerLife #ClassicYacht #BoatRestoration #ChrisCraft #YachtLens #WoodenBoat #Liveaboard #YachtTour #GardnerDiesel #MarineEngine #GardnerEngine #VintageMachinery #BoatLife #AirStart #MechanicalMarvel #OldSchoolPower #MaritimeHistory
